Virginia A. Boone Highland Oaks Elementary

We have continued our streak of being an A school for the twelfth year in a row. But ---- not only are we an "A" school but we also achieved Adequate Yearly Progress as required by the No Child Left Behind Act. Additionally, our scores were some of the highest in the entire county. My sincerest thanks to our entire staff, to you-- our parents, and to our students who all work so very hard to make VABHOE a school of excellence. It is the partnership we share that expects high academic achievement with strong moral character that sets the example for our children. A pat on the back to all of us!
